The results of the night in the NBA

Nets @ Blazers : 109-107
Spurs @ Kings : 112-130
Pistons @ Clippers : 91-96

LeBron James puts pressure on the Lakers in disguise

– Since the start of the NBA season, the Blazers have scored more buzzer game winners than almost anyone. That night, they found themselves on the wrong side of the sentence against Brooklyn. At 107-107, Kevin Durant (35 pts) took the winning shot over Straw Grantbut it’s good Royce O’Neale who played the heroes by extending the ball into the circle 0.4 seconds behind the siren. This action validated the triple-double of the former Jazz player: 11 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and… 1 game winner.

Portland thought they had won overtime when Jusuf Nurkic equalized on a circus shot, but the Nets and O’Neale decided otherwise.

Ben Simmons came off the bench and did not finish the match after taking his 6th foul, BUT and it’s a big but, the Australian had a good contribution in this part. In 32 minutes, he managed to compile 15 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 1 against, without missing a single basket and having a positive +/- (+7). The hour of awakening may have arrived in this role which we did not expect.

– Since crossing the desert without the playoffs, the Kings have not frequently won five games in a row. Here they are on this interesting series after their victory at home against San Antonio. Mike Brown’s players are starting to win the games they need to win and that’s a game changer. Tonight, Sacramento was never behind on the scoreboard and hit the nail on the head in the last quarter (41-30) with De’Aaron Fox (28 pts) and Malik Monk (26 pts) at the wand, to respond to Devin Vassell (29 pts).

Spurs, for their part, have more than begun their descent into the abyss with a 9th defeat in 10 matches after starting at 5-2. We still see some interesting things in this group, which will be able to continue to develop without being given the intention of not participating in the Wembanyama Race.

Kawhi Leonard made his return that night, much to the relief of Clippers fans. If the double MVP of the Finals was shy in attack (6 points at 2/8) did not participate in the money time against Detroit, his defensive impact was quite sensational and his presence clearly galvanized his teammates. When he was on the floor, Los Angeles was at +25 and we saw him several times dissuade the Pistons without needing to succeed in counterattacks.

After a sluggish first half – they returned to the locker room at -8 – the Californians gradually took over thanks to the scoring of Reggie Jackson (21 pts) and the rebound intensity ofIvica Zubac (9 pts, 18 rebounds) in particular. A drive of Norman Powell ended the suspense one minute from the end.

Killian Hayes started for Detroit, but he unfortunately did not manage a match in line with those that we had seen him do recently. The French played 28 minutes for 5 points (1/8), 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 assist, with a differential of… -17.
