The Women’s Doubles Tournament ended successfully, last Saturday, at the facilities of the Deportivo Baigorrita club. The contest was organized by the institution’s Tennis Subcommittee and began on the weekend of October 15.
The couple made up of Sofía Bisio and Laura Benvenuto took first place after beating Karen Susseret and Paula Rodríguez in the final. The competition was attended by eight couples, four from Baigorrita, two from Junín and two from Los Toldos. In addition, raffles were held among the participants and the finalists of the tournament were awarded. Also, there was an “internal” meeting between five couples who play sports at the club in the neighboring town, where they enjoyed a day of tennis.
The Subcommittee provided a canteen service in order to raise funds for the renovation of the field lighting for the upcoming summer season.
