how to play

To play this sport, you will need two main tools: a racket and a ball. The racquet for racquetball is the same as the tennis racket, that is, large with grids. As for the ball, it is rubber with gas inside.

Frontenis is played on a court, known as a fronton, 30 x 10 x 10 cm (length, height and width), and it is the wall located in the front, where all the balls must touch so that the plays are valid. This space is usually made of concrete or quartz, and we will have to throw the ball at the marks on the wall to establish the score and the distance of the game. On the ground we will also find divisions that will determine the distance of the serves, short area and long area. This sport can be individual or team, and the person or team that gets 25 points first wins (with a difference of two between them), and it is forbidden to hit the ball with parts of the body, except for the hands.

Although racquetball was born in Mexico, it became popular in Spain and Argentina as well, and today it is practiced in many more such as the US, Italy, France or Costa Rica.
