Tenth place for the Tierra del Fuego delegation

The team with the best performance was the Women’s Athletics team, which took third place on the podium in the classification of its discipline and won a well-deserved trophy.

The rest of those selected were located in different positions in the final classification. The women’s volleyball was seventh, while the men’s volleyball finished eighth. Women’s soccer finished tenth, while men’s soccer finished eighth. Basketball boys sealed the tournament in eighth place as well, while girls did so in thirteenth place.

In addition, the women’s Judo finished sixth and the men also. For its part, Swimming also added good points beyond all the difficulties that the Fuegian swimmers had in the run-up to this trip.

Finally, Cycling managed to score good points in the final classification. After a long time, the men were able to obtain several points and get out of the bottom of the positions. While the girls achieved a historic participation, in which the team was able to add five valuable points.
