Striker Baláž left Karlovy Vary at his own request

“Jožka felt that he needed more space on the ice for his development than he was getting here,” the club said.

Baláž joined the Energie team from Nitra before the season and played 13 extra-league games in the Karlovy Vary team with an average ice time of just over eight minutes. He scored a goal for the first time on Friday in Hradec Králové, where he decided on a 2:1 win, on Sunday he mitigated the 2:6 home defeat against Třinec.

In the past he also played for Vítkovice, in the highest Czech competition he has a record of 59 matches, four goals and two assists.
