Tainan TSG GhostHawks head coach Liu Meng-chu said on Sunday that the Taiwan Steel Group had given the go-ahead for the signing of a renowned foreign player, with an agreement for the NBA free agent, Carmelo Anthony, already in preparation. At a pre-game press conference ahead of Sunday’s game against the Taoyuan Leopards, Liu said the GhostHawks have entered into discussions with the former Los Angeles Laker’s representatives.

Like Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony could therefore continue his career on the side of Taiwan in the months to come. A real heartbreak for the fans because as with the pivot, we are talking about a player with a monstrous pedigree whose professional career takes a sad turn.
