Shaq releases an ultra-controversial opinion on the last move of the Nets!

Having fired his trainer Steve Nash a few days ago, Brooklyn is still counting on his assistant Jacques Vaughn to take over the interim. But his successor is already designated, despite the big controversy around him… which is why the recent exit of Shaquille O’Neal should not please everyone.

Following a disappointing 2021-22 season, punctuated by a sweep cashed in the first round of the playoffs, Steve Nash knew he was in the hot seat at the Nets. But in the end, he will not even have stayed 10 more games in charge since the franchise sacked him after the failed start to the campaign of his men, with whom the current no longer passed at all. However, the leaders have known for a while who they would like to have in his place, namely Ime Udoka who is suspended from the Celtics.

In all likelihood, Boston will also let him go, no surprise after he was at the heart of a dark case of sexual harassment and infidelity in Massachusetts. We thought, however, that blacks and whites had had enough of the permanent drama, they who already count Kyrie Irving in their ranks… and yet, Shaquille O’Neal in particular is convinced that this signing would be an excellent decision for the superteam:

Shaq validates the arrival of Ime Udoka to the Nets

Winning heals everything. Let him come and play ten games in a row. Watch how all their troubles will go away. His job is going to be to get the two and a half superstars to play together, get them hungry and lead the other nine, ten, eleven guys, and it’s going to be tough.

The Big Diesel is based in particular on his experience with Phil Jackson, explaining that he had spun right under the Zen Master precisely because the latter had won so many titles with the Bulls.

Given that Udoka went to the Finals last year with the C’s, we understand Shaqfu’s argument from a sporting point of view, especially since there is already a connection between the two parties since the tactician was assistant in Brooklyn for a while. But on an ethical level, this opinion is still quite controversial and it is not for nothing that many Internet users are shooting the franchise daily for this upcoming move, especially with everything that is currently happening:

Not sure Brooklyn is the best place for Ime Udoka to rehab his image right now

Udoka gone to fuck all the girls in Brooklyn

Despite the dark affair around Ime Udoka, Shaquille O’Neal would totally validate the arrival of the former Celtics coach at the Nets. Not sure, however, that the fans see it the same way, they who would certainly not say no to a little less drama.
