Ronaldo and Manchester United part ways

Ronaldo was suspended by Ten Hague last month for refusing to take the field in a match against Tottenham Hotspur. The footballer expressed that he did not respect his current coach.

“I don’t respect him because he doesn’t respect me. If you don’t respect me, I will never respect you,” Ronaldo said.

On the other hand, the legend of the Portuguese national team spoke even harsher about Rangnik: “If you haven’t even been a coach, how can you be the boss of Manchester United? I’ve never even heard of him.”

In general, Ronaldo did not hide his indignation at returning to the club with which he once reached the highest heights.

“I feel betrayed. I feel there are people who don’t want to see me here, not only this year but also last season,” Ronaldo said.

The footballer also did not hide that he wanted to join “United’s” city rivals “City”, but he was dissuaded by the legendary “United” coach Sir Alex Ferguson. However, according to Ronaldo, since Ferguson left United (in 2013), United’s development has completely stopped.

“I don’t know what’s going on, but since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club [“United”] I haven’t seen any development. Zero progress! For example, the gym, the infrastructure and other things are exactly the same as when I was 20-21 years old,” said Ronaldo sharply.

This season, Ronaldo has appeared in 10 matches in the English Premier League, scoring only one goal. The legendary footballer will represent the Portuguese national team in the upcoming World Cup, playing his most likely last final tournament.
