Not content with organizing a qualifying competition, the Archers of Saint-Martin have distinguished themselves on the shooting ranges.
Announced with the arrival of the new supervisors, a qualifying competition has just been proposed. The St Martin archery club has just organized its first competition for the national championships in Bourrouillan. A day that was a great success since nearly 70 archers, from all the clubs in the department, and even from neighboring sectors, registered for the Sunday competition. The archers competed, for some on two engagements during the day, in events including recurve bow, barebow and compound bow.
Organizers, the Archers of St Martin also competed and the results were very satisfactory, distinguishing themselves in several categories. It was in the presence of Vincent Gouanelle, mayor of Barrouillan who had made the village hall available, that the award ceremony took place. A satisfaction for President Philippe Iza who did not hide his joy, very communicative, during these awards.
The results of the day, given according to age criteria, are as follows: 1st U13 women recurve bow: Jade Gontard, 3rd U18 women recurve bow: Morgane Toti, 2nd U18 men compound bow: Gillem Iza, 1st seniors 1 men bow compound: Bryan Cnudde, 1st senior ladies compound bow: Alexandra Junca, 2nd senior ladies compound bow: Stéphanie Ruart, 1st senior 3 compound bow: Michel Bedeau, 2nd senior 3 compound bow: Thierry Pinsard, 1st senior ladies bow naked: Antonia Colombo, 3rd senior men barebow: Franck Bonnicart.
The organizers and managers of the club congratulate all the archers for the good performance of these performances and do not forget Erick Travers (Arc’magnac) who achieved a good 3rd place in senior 3 Bare Bow in Montgiscard.
