Ralf Schumacher suspects Steiner plays a role in Mick’s expected F1 exit

It is starting to look more and more like that Mick Schumacher will not have a Formula 1 seat next season. After all, it seems that Haas will opt for Nico Hülkenberg instead of Schumacher. According to Ralf Schumacher, he suspects that something else is going on in the background at Haas.

Mick Schumacher is having a difficult season. The German driver is in his second year in Formula 1 and he is having a very difficult time. In Saudi Arabia, Monaco and Japan he wrote off his car and his teammate Kevin Magnussen comes out much stronger. Schumacher has an expiring contract with Haas and it seems that it will not be renewed.

Not positive

Mick Schumacher’s uncle Ralf Schumacher suspects that there is much more going on in the background at Haas. Former driver Ralf is critical of the German Sky: “I don’t think Haas will decide in favor of Schumacher. They would have done that a long time ago otherwise. I think the way Haas deals with Mick and the openness of Günther Steiner , not necessarily be positive.”

Focus

Uncle Ralf thinks that Haas is working against Mick Schumacher. According to the former driver, team boss Steiner plays an important role in this: “Mick has shown that he has potential. Whatever he did, the team and Steiner were never satisfied with it. That amount cannot be explained by normal standards. It must be something personal. I don’t think Steiner can handle it if the focus is on someone else. He wants to come into the foreground himself.”
