Pedro Proença and Thinking Football: «An event that goes down in the history of Portuguese football» – Thinking Football Summit

The “event that goes down in the history of Portuguese football” is already underway, as Pedro Proença proudly recorded in the opening session of the Thinking Football Summit 2022, which takes place between today and Sunday at Pavilhão Rosa Mota – Super Bock Arena, in Porto .

“This is one of the most important days for Portuguese football. We have fulfilled a dream that was born more than three years ago, an ambitious wish that is now a reality”, said the president of Liga Portugal, thanking everyone for their presence, in particular of the Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, João Paulo Correia, whom he called “an ally of Liga Portugal”.

Pedro Proença also particularly thanked Rui Moreira, mayor of Porto. “Portuguese professional football will be eternally grateful”, he pointed out, focusing on the “umbilical relationship that has always existed with the city of Porto”.

The president of Liga Portugal then highlighted the numbers involving this Thinking Football Summit 2022, predicting that 15 thousand people will pass through the Pavilhão Rosa Mota during the three days of an event that brings together 250 speakers, 80 countries, 30 conferences and 150 companies .

“We are taking another step towards excellence, as this is the biggest event in the world for Portuguese football”, added Pedro Proença.
