FEDERATION Indonesian Football (PSSI) said that the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, West Java, is not certain to be the home ground for the Indonesian national team in the 2022 AFF Cup. PSSI Technical Director Indra Sjafri made this statement.
Indra Sjafri said, his party was still discussing with Shin Tae-yong, regarding which stadium was right for the Indonesian national team. Previously, PSSI named two candidates for the Indonesian National Team headquarters in the 2022 AFF Cup.
The two venues are Pakansari Stadium, Bogor and Patriot Stadium. Then, the PSSI Executive Committee (Exco), Endri Erawan, said that the Patriot Stadium was planned to become the headquarters of the Indonesian National Team.
However, PSSI has yet to knock on the hammer regarding which venue will be the venue for the Indonesian National Team’s fight in the 2022 AFF Cup. According to Indra Sjafri, PSSI is still discussing with Shin Tae-yong regarding which venue is the most suitable.
“We are discussing the most suitable place, but we and STY are also discussing the stadium that is most suitable for us,” said Indra Sjafri in Jakarta.
Both Patriot and Pakansari Stadiums have their own advantages and disadvantages. The weather in Bekasi is more conducive because the rainfall is lower than in Bogor.
