Pacers’ incredible last-second 3-pointer to defeat Lakers

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 116-115 on Monday at the NBA.

The visiting team shocked everyone in Crypto.com Arena with a last-second 3-pointer from rookie Andrew Nembhard that capped a 17-point fourth-quarter comeback.

“I think you keep your cool as you work in the gym for those types of moments,” Nembhard said. “You just have to bring your confidence, and when it comes, you just have to step up for the team that way. I think it was a great team win, we had a lot of contributions from a lot of guys, and it was my turn to give a step forward at that moment to win the game”.

For the Lakers, this defeat was a devastating blow, since the team came in its prime and it seemed that they were ready to put their ugly start to the season behind them.
