OTC prepares for the tour of the National League and waits for the window of the South American League

OTC does not rest and, in large part, its great present is due to that. Celeste is experiencing a great moment in the National League and the South American League, which keeps it as a great candidate on both fronts.

In this sense, Misiones Online spoke with its coach, Fabio Demti, who analyzed the present of the missionary team, and spoke about the next commitments.

“We have started well, especially in the results and in the two competitions, both the South American League and the National League. Little by little we are also improving what the game is, ”he commented.

Demti pointed out that, in terms of results, the start of the season is “ideal and dreamy”, having qualified for another instance in the South American League, won five of six games in the National League and having obtained great results against very important rivals, such as Institute, Quimsa or Regattas.

“I think we still have to grow in the game. Although we showed an evolution in the last outing against Unión and Comunicación on the offensive side, we are building this day by day and we have to continue growing in that aspect”, remarked Demti.

The Celeste coach remarked that “there are always things to improve” and that, although the team has shown very good things, especially on the defensive side, adjustments are still needed on the dynamic and offensive side.

“The truth is that the boys are always open to indications, to try to progress and that the team is really a team in every way. We are doing well, with a very good day-to-day work and all that adds up, in a season that is very long”.

In that sense, Demti spoke about the surprise departure of Justin Gordon, who left OTC with a handful of games and whose place was quickly taken by Franco Giorgetti.

“Gordon was a great professional, a boy ten points in every way, and no one more than me as a coach would have wanted him to be able to meet all the expectations we had, because it was also my choice, logically, along with the leadership”, he mentioned. .

The Celeste coach assured that he would have liked to see what else he could have done on the field of play, but that the injury he suffered during the preseason conditioned him.

Giorgetti, last stop in Mexico, joins Celeste

“He was out between fifteen and twenty days and couldn’t play the friendlies, so all of that also took its toll on him later. He did not complete my expectations within the game, ”he asserted.

Regarding the arrival of Giorgetti, Demti stressed that he already knows him and knows what he can offer to the Obereño team’s game.

“The truth is that he is a boy that I know well because I saw him in his beginnings in the National League with Peñarol and he has grown a lot. Physically he is very good and in the dynamics that our team has, he will match just right. He is a player who understands well what we are aiming for” he added.

Finally, Demti pointed out that the team’s focus is on the next window of the National League, where it will have three very tough games.

“We are focusing on the preparation for the next tour of the League, which is very difficult. Without a doubt that against San Lorenzo, Obras and Boca we have to keep adding to be in these places that we have today, which are good. Logically, the table varies during the season, but we want to be as high as possible and all these games also help us prepare and adapt, including the new player for what is the South American, since we are also very close and we know that San Martín It is going to be a very tough rival”, he completed.
