He continued, “I was indebted to Director Nakajima when I was with the Fighters, and what I learned from him as a catcher has become my foundation. I feel lucky to be able to play baseball under such a wonderful manager. I believe that my ability to communicate with both superiors and subordinates is second to none.I would like to begin by listening to the opinions of the pitcher and the opponent,” he said enthusiastically.

Finally, he said to his fans, “Because I have a cheerfulness and energy, I want to communicate with the team members more and more, get used to the team as soon as possible, and contribute to the team. I was sending a message.

Ishikawa is a catcher who joined the team in 8th place in the 2013 draft from Teikyo High School. In 2021, he participated in 60 games, the most of his career, but this season he had a batting average of .156 (7 hits in 45 at bats) and 3 RBIs in 23 games.
