Hendrawan does not deny he will return to train at PBSI National Training at some stage. But not for now.

This was revealed by the 2000 Sydney Olympics silver medalist while accompanying his athletes to participate in the PBSI mini tournament, BrightUp Cup 2022, at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Thursday (10/11/2022).

“We often chat, including we always exchange ideas with PBSI what I think I can help,” said Hendrawan.

“One day, maybe I will come back, for sure,” Hendrawan emphasized.

Hendrawan himself had been the coach of Pelatnas in 2004. Then he left abroad, Malaysia, in 2009. His departure at that time was a big blow for Indonesia. Moreover, he left after accompanying the Red and White team in the Sudirman Cup. At that time, Indonesia was eliminated by South Korea in the semifinals.

Hendrawan recorded as a cold-handed coach by scoring outstanding players Sony Dwi Kuncoro and Simon Santoso as well as players in women’s singles. In Malaysia, he managed to lead Lee Chong Wei to become a champion in various BWF tournaments.
