The move comes Monday, less than 24 hours after a 22-16 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The 29-year-old running back fumbled the ball in the red zone during that game. It was the fifth time he had lost the ball to his opponents in 10 games this season.

“It makes me sick, he had said Gordon III about his escape after the duel. I shot myself in the foot and I’m upset about it.”

In 2022, the running back was playing a third season in a Broncos uniform. He had played the first five seasons of his career in the organization of the Chargers, who had drafted him in the first round (15e in total) from the 2015 amateur auction.

Gordon III has rushed with the ball in hand 90 times for 318 yards and two touchdowns this year. He also caught 25 passes for 223 yards.
