New game is now available for PC and consoles

The new game “Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising” is now available for PC and consoles. Specifically, you can strike on the systems PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and on Windows PCs via Steam for 49.99 euros. I was surprisingly impressed with the previous brawler, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues, so I might check out the new game as well.

So “Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues” was more than the usual licensed stuff and actually played very entertaining. In addition, numerous actors from the series were involved as speakers. The new title, “Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising” is no longer a 2.5D brawler, but is now a genuine 3D game. There are 28 playable characters from the series to choose from. The trailer already shows that you shouldn’t expect a triple-A game here, but it could be quite solid.

Even here they want to tempt you with a more expensive special edition: The so-called “Nemesis Edition” in the digital stores costs 59.99 euros and allows you to compete as one of five enemy boss characters in the All Valley tournament mode: Hammer, Bo, Gabriel, Skeleton Lord and Terry Silver. The Nemesis Edition also includes a jukebox feature that lets you play songs from the game’s soundtrack by official Cobra Kai composers Zach Robinson and Leo Birenberg.

You can indulge in a story mode, but also relive key scenes from the series in Cobra Classics. You can also embody Eagle Fang, Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do as Dojos and then recruit and train new students. Again, some actors from the series are also part of the game as speakers.

As I said, I’m a huge fan of the Netflix series, so I’ll be checking in on the game as well. I think I’m personally waiting for a price drop.
