Die National Basketball Association (NBA) opened the first NBA store in Germany in November 2022. The new store is located at Alte Potsdamer Straße 7 in 10785 Berlin in The Playce at Potsdamer Platz. After the stores in London (Great Britain), Milan (Italy) and Paris (France) this is now the fourth and largest NBA store in Europe.
NBA Store Berlin
There is a wide range of official NBA and WNBA merchandise and souvenirs on almost 1,000 square meters. Jerseys, athletic apparel and gear, toys and collectibles from well-known brands such as Nike, Mitchell & Ness, New Era and Wilson are also now available in store. The NBA Store also offers exclusive NBA Berlin clothing and accessories as well as an area where fans can have NBA jerseys and caps personalized for all 30 NBA teams. Works of art made by a Berlin designer and visual artist especially for the location contribute to the special design of the store.

Berlin Opening
With the opening of the NBA store in Berlin, there will be stationary NBA stores in the league’s three most important European merchandise markets, alongside Deutschland also in Great Britain and France. There are more than 400 NBA-branded stores and attractions worldwide that serve as official league destinations for fans around the world, including the Lids-operated NBA Store in New York City. NBA fans in Germany and throughout Europe can still find a wide range of NBA products from all 30 NBA teams online.

2011 NBA Champion and former Dallas Mavericks point guard, JJ Barea opened the store and engaged with visitors on the spot. To celebrate the day, fans could also have their purchased items individually embroidered free of charge in the store. A Puerto Rican native, JJ Barea played 14 seasons in the NBA. He spent eleven of them with the Dallas Mavericks (2006-2011, 2014-2020) and won the NBA championship with the team in 2011.
