NBA: Hunt for the fugitive: arrested for rape the “skills coach” of NBA stars like Curry or LeBron

El fugitive Rob McClanaghana well-known basketball coach who worked with Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and other NBA stars, has been arrested in Rhode Island accused of fleeing from Justice not to answer some indictments for a rape in downtown Boston and drug trafficking.

The 43-year-old coach was arrested by Boston Police Fugitive Unit and went admitted to Cranston Correctional Facility without bail pending trial.

Boston police charge Rob McClanaghan with using illegal drugs to subdue a woman for non-consensual sex in a Boston hotel.

Rob McClanaghan, a former Syracuse University player, describes himself on his website as “the premier skill development coach for the best players in the NBA,” sharing that he has coached the likes of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook , Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Kevin Love or Stephen Curry, who wrote the foreword to McClanaghan’s book ‘Net Work’.

The detained coach, who worked with Joe Mazzulla (Celtics coach) at Bishop Hendricken, currently has no ties to any NBA franchise.
