NBA career record with 31 points for Jakob Pöltl at Spurs – Sport-Mix – Basketball

Jakob Pöltl showed a strong performance in the NBA.

The center from Vienna recorded a personal career record with 31 points in a 110:117 away win against the Portland Trail Blazers. In addition, 14 rebounds mean the sixth double-double in the game year. Five assists and one block in 31:40 minutes on the floor round off the 27-year-old’s statistics.

For the first time in a game in the strongest basketball league in the world, Pöltl has more than 30 points. He converts 14 of 17 two-pointers and has three hits in five attempts from the free-throw line.

Pöltl cracks the “30” for the first time in the NBA

The home NBA pioneer surpassed his previous record (28 points with the Washington Wizards on February 25 of this year, note) in Portland with the goal to 100:98. He breaks the “30” a little later when he puts his team 106:100 in the lead.

The Texans are yet to win because they only have four points in the last 6:50 of the game. In addition to top scorer Pöltl, Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson are the strongest offensive players on the San Antonio side with 21 and 20 points respectively. For the Trail Blazers, the 117:110 means their tenth win of the season.

The Spurs continue their trip to the US West Coast on Thursday with the Sacramento Kings. The team from the Californian capital played offensively on Tuesday and inflicted a 153-121 defeat on the Brooklyn Nets. Led by Terence Davis with 31 points, seven Kings players scored in double digits.
