Moonton x Garudaku is established, the potential for wonderkid discoveries in Indonesia is even greater.
Moonton x Garudaku officially collaborate. Seeing that Mobile Legends is getting bigger and growing day by day since 2018, Moonton is aware that there are many talented young players that must be facilitated.
Because of that, Moonton x Garudaku is established and has a program called Moonton Cares. Moonton Cares is a program for high school students, of course to get talented wonderkids who in the future can make Indonesia proud at the MPL to M Series levels.
As we know, most of the current pro players are very young people. Even those who are active now are some who are 16 years old and the youngest, because it complies with the MDL and MPL minimum age regulations.
The Moonton x Garudaku agreement note was signed in Malang, Thursday November 17th, as well as the beginning of the Moonton Cares journey itself.
Moonton x Garudaku doesn’t only focus on pro players
Interestingly, regarding this program, Moonton ensures that their focus is not only on being a pro player. But broadly towards other jobs in esports such as caster, trainer, or content creator.
“There are 210 students from seven schools in East Java who are members of the collaboration program Moonton Cares and Garudaku Academy. We will facilitate an academy esports coaching program which includes various programs for students who have an interest in getting into the esports industry,” explained Azwin Nugraha, PR Manager of Moonton Indonesia in a release received by ONE Esports.
“Not only as an esports athlete, other opportunities are referees, casters, managers, influencers, and content creators. Malang is our first step in encouraging the growth of esports in Indonesia,” he added.
Moonton will open up digital access by donating smartphones to schools which are of course part of this collaboration.
“The hope is that students will immediately practice using smartphones, not just learning about theory so that they can immediately implement it in the real world, especially in education,” Azwin concluded.
With the Moonton x Garudaku program, automatic monitoring of talented players in all corners of Indonesia will be easier. Don’t be surprised if in the future wonderkids appear in scenes like MDL and MPL. This is the capital for Indonesia to rise and be able to beat the Philippines at the MLBB world level event.
