Especially in the first set, Novak Djokovic didn’t give his Italian opponent a chance. After just 24 minutes, the first set went to the Serbs.
At the beginning of the second round, however, Djokovic weakened briefly. He lost his second game of service and Musetti took a 2-1 lead.
But the 20-year-old’s joy didn’t last long. Djokovic managed the direct re-break and everything was back in order.

In the round of the last four, the Serb meets fifth in the world rankings Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek beat the American Tommy Paul 6:2, 6:4 in the last quarterfinals.
For Tsitsipas it is the fifth semi-final in a Masters this year.
