New Zealand’s Lydia Ko confirms her number one status on the LPGA Tour by taking the lead in the circuit final after the first round of the CME Group Tour Championship, well ahead of her runner-up, Atthaya Thitikul. Céline Boutier is under par (23rd).
Number one of LPGA Tour on the starting line of CME Group Tour Championshipthe grand finale of the American circuit, Lydia Ko reinforces his status with a card of 65 (-7). The New Zealander however started with a bogey at 1, before chaining three birdies from 5 to 7, then a new fine series of four birdies from 14 to 17! With a score of -7 on the course in Naples (Florida), the double winner this season is one length ahead of the American Danielle Kang and the Thai Pajaree Anannarukarn.

Celine Boutier under par
The world number one, Nelly Kordais sixth alongside the Canadian Brooke Henderson (-4). The only French woman entered in this prestigious final reserved for the American top 60, Celine Boutier fought to finish under par, despite a double-bogey on 9 and another error on 18 (bogey). The number one tricolor is 23rd, just like Minjee Leethird in the world and third in the Race to CME Globe. The title holder, Jin Young Kois in par (35th).
