Kristaps Porzingis signs the best performance of his career with 41 points

Washington is enjoying the best Kristaps Porzingis the NBA has ever seen. The Latvian player came to the Wizards to breathe clean air and relaunch his career, something that after some doubts he is achieving; so much so that last night he played the best game of his career by going up to 41 points.

“I have to admit that I feel good. I thought I wasn’t going to get it because I thought we were going to crush them by winning by 30 points and that would lead to me not having any minutes in the fourth quarter. I was thinking about that scenario,” he admits.

The Latvian was the main piece of some Wizards who passed over Minnesota to the point of reaching a 27-point lead and finally defeating them 142-127. Porzingis was excellent on the shoot to reach 41 points. To be exact, he shot 12 of 18 from the field (6 of 10 on 3-pointers) and was perfect from the free throw line with 11 of 11. Here’s his performance.

Bradley Beal (22 points) and Kyle Kuzma (23) were the perfect squires at center. Questioned about the performance of his partner, Kuzma emphasizes that he was delighted to help him achieve his personal record. “It’s always fun when you can help someone have the best performance of their career.
