Giving priority to infrastructure, Kepez Municipality Sports Club’s Basketball U18 Girls Team won 4 of 4 matches and set their sights on Antalya Championship. Defeating DSİ Spor, Antalya Güneşi and Antalya Basketball Club in the first half, respectively, the team managed to beat DSİ Spor, which they met again in the second half, by a landslide 72-39. Except for the 2 athletes born in 2005, the girls, who were all born in 2007 and 2008, did not turn a blind eye to the teams consisting of players 2-3 years older than them. Head Coach Besim Güvenç stated that if they make it to the play-offs after the last 2 matches, they will play the tournament with 2 teams from the other group, ‘We want to be the Antalya Champion. If we can win this championship, we will have the right to participate in other championships,” he said.
