Judocas stand out in Queretaro | The Herald of Aguascalientes

The delegation of judokas from Aguascalientes and various clubs from the Aguascalientes State Sports Institute obtained 12 medals and positioned themselves in the top 6 of the best athletes in the discipline during the “Professor Adolfo Sosa” National Judo Championship that took place in the state of Queretaro. With 85% assertiveness in obtaining medals, the results were as follows: the 6 gold medal winners were Brenda García in the Under 15 category of 53 kg, Krista Gallegos in the Pre-Infant +33 kg category, Sahara García in Pre Infant -24 kg, Vanessa Gaytán in the Junior Sub 21 -70 kg category, Israel Suarez in the Veterans M3 -78 kg category and Selene Gaytán in the Sub 15 +64 kg category. For her part, the winner of a silver medal was Siomara Pérez in the category of First Strength -66 kg. The 5 bronze medal winners were Victoria Marín in the Sub 13 -42 kg category, Fernanda Jasso in the Sub 13 -47 kg category, Alejandra Rangel in the Junior Sub 21 -48 kg category and Daniela Gaytán and Mateo Rosales in the Sub 13 category. Finally, the young José García and David obtained 5th and 6th place respectively in the Sub 13 branch -42 kg and +52 kg.
With these types of results, plus the clinics that have been held in recent months within judo, both the IDEA and the young athletes demonstrate the good work that is being done in this discipline, which continues to deliver results and raises the profile of local talent.
