Jordi Amat and Sandy Walsh Soon Officially Join the Indonesian National Team!

Jordi Amat and Sandy Walsh is getting very close to being a part of Indonesian National team. They are indicated to just take the oath at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham).

This was revealed from the latest post by Hasani Abdulgani, a member of Exco PSSI who regularly oversees the naturalization process of Indonesian-blooded players including Jordi Amat and Sandy Walsh.

Responding to a netizen’s question, Hasani Abdulgani then indicated that the naturalization files of Jordi Amat and Sandy Walsh had been signed by President Joko Widodo, with the remaining process now being the taking of their oaths at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. “That’s right,” replied Hasani in response to the question.

Naturalization process Jordi Amat and Sandy Walsh PSSI has actually taken care of it since around April 2022. Both of them even had time to participate in training for the Indonesian national team before the 2023 Asian Cup Qualification, although in the end they failed to defend the Indonesian national team in the qualification.

Previously, there was also good news regarding the naturalization process of another descendant, namely Shayne Pattynama. PSSI’s application for Shayne’s naturalization to become an Indonesian citizen has received the green light from Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives. He followed Jordi Amat and Sandy Walsh, whose naturalization process had already been taken care of.
