Before the bronze at the World Championships, in fact, Camanni had won two other bronze medals (European Championships in Cagliari and Grand Prix of Antalya in Turkey) and gold at the EPYG 2022, the European Paralympic Youth Games which took place in the summer in Finland. The other blue in the race today, Asia Giordanoa very talented young man, also on her debut at the World Championships, was betrayed by emotion and in the J1 – 57 kg category she was unable to enter the medal area.

Finally, in the J2 +70 kg category, the European champion Carolina Costa will face Rebeca Silva (Brazil) and, if successful, she could contend with another Brazilian who has already faced several times in the past: Meg Emmerich, who to pass the first round will have to beat the winner of the match between Dursadaf Karimova (Azerbaijan) and Mariana Mederos (Uruguay).
