Islam Makhachev’s Grappling Move Receives Recognition from the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Champion

JUARA.NET – Kick grappling The new king of the UFC, Islam Makhachev got recognition from the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or BJJ world champion, Craig Jones.

Makhachev’s ability to carry out ground combat is being widely scrutinized.

At UFC 280 some time ago, Makhachev was fought with Charles Oliveira.

As is well known, Oliveira is a BJJ practitioner.

The Brazilian champion even holds a black belt.

However, Makhachev was able to beat Oliveira even with his own weapon, namely submission.

Even though he has appeared extraordinary, Islam Makhachev is still not free from criticism.

There are still people who don’t recognize the greatness of fellow UFC legends, Khabib Nurmagomedov in the ground fight, one of them, Ben Askren.

Askren chose to exclude Makhachev from his list of the best wrestlers.
