The Toronto Raptors will have to make do without the services of winger Pascal Siakam. The star player will miss at least two weeks of action with a right adductor injury, the team announced on Sunday.
Siakam slipped in Friday night’s game, a 111-110 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
The 28-year-old Cameroonian scored 18 points in 32 minutes against the Mavericks before leaving the playing surface with the help of teammates.
Siakam is off to a strong start to the season so far, averaging 24.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists in nine games, each team highs.
The Raptors have another injured player to deal with: Fred VanVleet has missed the team’s last three games with lower back pain.
