In Serie B it is time for the derby: the Fiorenzuola Bees host Bakery Piacenza

Two of the most important basketball expressions of Piacenza will face each other in an important match for the entire local movement: at 18.00 today, Sunday 6 November, the Fiorenzuola Bees are hosting Bakery Piacenza in the 6th round of the Serie B basketball championship.

At PalArquato di Castell’Arquato 40 minutes of great basketball are expected for two teams currently paired at 6 points in the standings after the first 5 matches, with a great desire to prevail over each other.

The Fiorenzuola Bees reach the challenge after a thriller challenge won on the difficult field of Virtus Spes Vis Imola; the 71-72 matured at the end with Magrini’s free throw, the match winner for the Gialloblu in the last two matches, gave great enthusiasm to a team that during the week also saw the return to the group of captain Pederzini, stopped during the at the beginning of the year from various problems of a muscular nature that seem to be finally behind us.

Back in Serie B by choice, coach Dal Re’s Bakery Piacenza has set up a competitive roster for this season as well. There are four players in double figures on average for the red and white from Piacenza, commanded by the long Cecchetti (for the center of 200 cm ex Vicenza) and by the wing Angelucci (ex Sangiorgese), respectively with 16.4 and 15.2 points of average.

Unforgettable ex of the match will be Umberto Livelli, for 4 seasons with the Fiorenzuola Bees shirt and starting this year on the bank of the Bakery Piacenza; for now a great start to the season for him with 10.6 points per game.

The Bakery arrives at PalArquato after the defeat at home at the hands of the leaders Real Sebastiani Rieti (corsair also in the Valdardese land at the debut) for 75-93, a match that followed two beautiful victories for the Piacentines over Empoli and Matelica respectively.

The challenge, extremely balanced, will be, as mentioned, a real commercial for Piacenza basketball: no missing is allowed, with the awareness of attending a heartfelt derby and returning after 2 seasons.
