Known by the nickname of “Miracle of Bern”, the final of this fifth edition of the World Cup will know from the final whistle a scent of scandal with the accusation of the Hungarian captain: the Germans were all doped during this match. And he was right.

West Germany won against Hungary by three goals to two, defying all predictions. The Hungarian team, undefeated for 31 games, is the undisputed favorite of the meeting.
