How to save Sparta? Quickly replace the entire team! Only Krejčí will stand

Even under the leadership of the Danish coach Brian Priske, Sparta still cannot overcome its shadow. A few games suggest improvement, then fall back into misery.

“Sparta is not the Sparta it was ten years ago. Only Láďa Krejčí survives, that is the only true Spartan. But he can’t pull it out himself. It would be hard for me to choose any other player, only Kuchta. I think they would need to change the team. A lot of players, which is a matter of long debate,” Dušan Uhrin Jr. proposes a radical solution.

“I would change the whole team. And I would try very quickly,” insists the coach.

It is no secret that his famous father Dušan, who led Letenské to victories over Barcelona and other renowned rivals, is disillusioned with the current Sparta.

“He’s taking it very badly. Like other ancient Spartans. Decent people, they don’t scold, but they say, we’re just doing it wrong… I hope I don’t even ask my dad about Sparta. He will speak coolly, but when we talk about her among ourselves, he definitely does not speak coolly,” the son describes.

It’s easy to say, replace the whole team, but how? “Select the best players from the Czech Republic from the teams just behind Sparta. And to pay them, after all, the foreigner Sparta paid,” points out the younger Uhrin.

Plzeň attacked well, Chorý was the main problem for us, says Barcelona coach XaviVideo: Sport.cz

“She could have had Vlkanova, she didn’t.” I like. Sýkora is a better player, but Vlkanova is a good replacement for Pilsen. Sparta could also have Sýkora,” he gives examples.

Viktoria may have hit their ceiling in the Champions League, but they are once again ruling the domestic competition. Sparta is threatened, for example, by the gunner Chorý, who honored Barcelona with two goals on Tuesday.

“Tomas surprised me, he was not my favorite. He always had an elbow, a yellow card. Now he doesn’t foul at all. Michal Bílek leads him excellently. His handwriting is visible. He has patience with the players, which he pays back,” the coach praises his colleague.

He still managed to recognize Bílek as a ward. “When Michal finished as a player and I coached Sparta B, he came to us for one match. He calmed down the young team, he saw everything around him well. The youth followed him. I went to watch his training sessions. After the end, he took the balls and kicked a hundred penalty kicks in one place,” the coach from the Spartan family points out with a smile the qualities of the Spartan, from which the champion Pilsen is now benefiting.
