He is arrested for stealing tennis shoes from a department store – El Sol de Durango

Municipal police officers arrested a 31-year-old man for stealing a pair of tennis shoes from a department store located in the Francisco I Madero subdivision, located south of the city.

The foregoing was announced by the Municipal Directorate of Public Security (DMSP), and the municipal agency also indicated that the alleged thief identified himself as Rubén Alán, 31 years old.

It was the security personnel of the Coppel Madero store, located in the aforementioned settlement for leaving the mall with Nike brand tennis shoes.which have a value of 1,500 pesos.

Due to this, the municipal agents moved to the place and managed to apprehend Rubén Alán on Francisco González de la Vega street between Domingo Arrieta boulevard, assuring him of the stolen item.

After the apprehension, he was admitted to the cellars of the south station and was later made available to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), where he will have to answer for the alleged crime of robbery with which he is charged.

At least 10,187 complaints were received by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) between January and October of this year for crimes against property and of that total, 5,571 were for theft, of which 1,60 were against business, show the figures from the National Public Security System (SNSP).
