MONCLOVA COAH.- A man who intended to wear new tennis shoes without paying for them was seized by the security guards of a department store, who handed him over to the Police but by not formalizing charges against him, the failed thief was saved from being turned over to the Public ministry.

The lover of foreign things was identified as Jesús Javier Armendáriz de la Rosa, who said he had his address on Calle 12 in the Hipódromo neighborhood, when he was arrested around 5:00 p.m. in the store on Venustiano Carranza street in the Downtown Zone. .

According to the staff of the clothing and footwear store, the individual entered in flip-flops and, like every customer, fitted on a pair of tennis shoes but was detected by the guards when he ignored the checkout and ran out of the store, being caught up meters later. .

After being detained by the workers, the Police arrived at the store and handcuffed him to transfer him to the Command, where he was only imprisoned for an administrative offense since the store staff did not file charges against him when they recovered the footwear.
