Girona B returns with victory (2-0) and Peralada stumbles at the Grama field (2-1)

Girona B’s victory against Sants and Peralada’s stumble against Grama. The three points allow the white-and-red subsidiary to escape from the bottom of the classification, while the team from Emporda sees the streak of two consecutive victories cut short and takes a step back in its fight for the play-off positions .

Girona B breathes a little easier after beating Sants 2-0. Axel Vizuete’s boys took the lead with a goal from a set piece by Oriol Comas. Cassà’s central defender took advantage of a lateral foul by Almansa to beat Castelló. The duel, without too many clear chances in the first half, was marked by the expulsion of Franco five minutes before the break. The Sants forward sent himself off by kicking a ball into the Girona bench which earned him the second yellow card. As a result of the action, a scuffle has been generated in which Richmon, on the bench, has also seen the red card. Despite playing with one more man the entire second half, the subsidiary could not close the game until the last minute. In an unexpected change of script, Lluc Matas was injured five minutes from the end and could not continue. Vizuete had used up the changes and Fuentes had to go under the posts. With the Barcelona players evoked in the attack, Arango has sentenced the game to a counter.

Peralada, for its part, lost to Grama by 2 to 1 and saw the good dynamic of results cut short. Miquel Àngel Muñoz’s team took the lead, but could not maintain the lead. The green-and-whites took the lead with a goal from Sergi Solans. The striker took advantage of a pass from Palacios to beat Manu Martín. In the second half, the locals equalized the match with a penalty goal by Roger Garcia at the hands of Varese. With a quarter of an hour to go, Mike Cevallos completed the home team’s comeback.
