On November 15, Nobuhiro Matsuda, who left the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks and transferred to the Yomiuri Giants, held a press conference at the Tokyo Dome Hotel. His jersey number was decided to be “23”.
At the press conference, Matsuda commented, “I really like baseball. I want to keep this feeling and play baseball. I want to play with the motto of being young, passionate, and energetic.”

Matsuda joined Softbank in 2005 from Chukyo High School through Asia University.
