EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- The president of the Dominican Softball Federation, Gary Bautista, announced the members of his group, who will accompany him in the search for the presidency of the Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) in the elections to be held next 1st. from December.
Although the elections for positions are individual, Bautista, like the current president, Antonio Acosta, will present this Monday the group of members who support him and seek to lead the COD.
Bautista’s companions, who will register their candidacies this Monday, are: José Manuel Ramos (president of the Equestrian Federation), who aspires to first vice president, and Luis Chanlatte (Wushu), who aspires to general secretary.
At the 2nd Irina Pérez, from the Sailing Federation, aspires to the vice presidency, and the third is Radhamés Tavarez, from Swimming. In addition, as co-secretary Jorge Blas Diaz, of cycling, co-treasurer José Miguel Robiou, of archery.
The three aspiring members are Francisco Soto from bowling, María Dimitrova, from Karate and Rubén Tejeda, from field tennis.
