Full South American in the semifinals of Temuco

Magnificent performance of the South American tennis players in the Temuco Challenger. In Chilean lands, the Argentines Guido Andreozzi and Nicholas Kickeralong with the Ecuadorian Emilio Gomez and the Colombian Nicolas Mejiathey qualified to the semifinals after winning their respective matches.

On the first turn, Andreozzi (901 °) got rid of Juan Bautista Otegui (432 °) 6-1 and 6-1 to return to play a semifinal of a contest after 16 months. The last time it had been in the Amersfoort Challenger with a fall against Botic van de Zandschulp. After this match, the one who took a victory in Temuco was the Ecuadorian Emilio Gomez (114th) who defeated Argentine Renzo Olivo (189th) 6-3, 3-6 and 6-2.

Later it was Nicolas Mejia (300th) who won since he defeated the Dominican Nick Hardt 6-7, 6-4 and 6-4 (218th). Last to qualify was Nicolás Kicker (201 °) who got rid of Facundo Bagnis (93 °) 6-0 and 6-2.

With these results, the semifinal draw was defined with Guido Andreozzi against Emilio Gómez and Nicolás Mejía against Nicolás Kicker. The semifinals can be seen on Star+ from 11:00 a.m. (Argentina)
