Free swimming, sports schools and futsal, in the ‘Díaz Flor’

The facilities of the Diaz Flor sports complex, in Ceuta, begin to have life. It is what was missing, after so much time of waiting, work and remodeling. Thus, since before they were being used to practice water polo, but now they have begun to practice free swimming and the badminton and volleyball schools resume, as well as some matches of the Football Federation.

As explained by the manager of the ICD, Araceli García, at a press conference, the official inauguration will be on December 1, when there will be a visit from José Ramón López Díaz Flor, an act that will be part of the sports gala. But since It is beginning to enjoy a gradual use.

Today it has opened for free swimming, following the same procedure for reserving lanes through the ICD page. It opens for enjoyment from seven in the morning for any user. Likewise, the vouchers can be used in any pool that the Ceuta sports institute has in its facilities.

Gradual opening until normality with the gym

It has been “opening little by little”, García recalled. First water polo that I had to do yes or yes there, and later for associations and a school such as the IES Clara Campoamor.

Today, those activities that were held at the ‘Antonio Campoamor’ are also offered, whose facilities were already quite full with basketball and the training sessions that were held there. “We will continue with Handball and surely this weekend the Federation will play minor category matches there in the afternoon,” García detailed.

The facilities will continue to open on Monday, and can be rented during the hours that are available. The gym is also going to be put into operation gradually, although the machinery is still in the bidding phase. Once hired, it will start working.
