Eduardo Lara directs again: he is the new coach of Alianza de El Salvador | Colombians Abroad

After the confirmation of Hernán ‘Bolillo’ as the new coach of Atlético Bucaramanga, another experienced coach has been confirmed in a new club.

This is Eduardo Lara who was presented by Alianza Fútbol Club, from the first division of El Salvador, as its new boss. In that country, the vallecaucano was national selector.

The DT, a former Colombian National Team in different categories, was confirmed on the club’s social networks and signed until 2023, with the main mission of leading the team back to the league title and shining in the next CONCACAF Champions League.

It is an institution with proven confidence in Colombian coaches, since Germán Gutiérrez de Piñeres (2002), Henry Vanegas (2003) and Wilson Gutiérrez (2019 – 2020) also directed there.

Lara had not led since August 2021, when he left Once Caldas due to poor results, and with this he will lead his seventh club, after Expreso Palmira, Deportes Quindío, América de Cali, Boyacá Chicó, Envigado and Once Caldas.
