It wasn’t the first time Djokovic had stirred up the tennis waters with his consumption of questionable drinks. During Wimbledon, he apparently inhaled isotonic powder from a bottle, but when asked by reporters, he replied with a smile that it was a “magic drink.”
During his semi-final match at the Masters tournament in Paris, a video was taken of his physiotherapist mixing something into his bottle and other team members covering the process from the cameras. The drink then traveled through the ball collectors to Djokovic.
Apparently it was a harmless ionic drink again, but fans and the British media immediately started speculating about what the bottle might have contained. Jelena’s wife has now started to defend her husband.
I don’t see anything dodgy. In fact, I see people trying to be private about their business in a world where everyone feels like they have every right to point camera at you whenever they want.
Apparently, wanting/trying to be private makes you dodgy nowadays.

“I don’t see anything suspicious. In fact, I see people trying to protect their privacy in public, where everyone feels like they have every right to point a camera at you,” she said. “In this day and age, apparently the pursuit of privacy is suspect,” she added.
