Benjamin Pavard was indeed arrested in a drunken state a few weeks ago. Julian Nagelsmann, his coach at Bayern Munich, confirmed this information from Bild after the victory against Inter Milan (2-0). “The club reacted well, Benji reacted well, he admitted his mistake, and that’s one for sure“, explained Julian Nagelsmann at the microphone of Prime Video. Pavard scored his first goal at the half-hour mark.
“I’m glad he scored an important goal on a day that wasn’t easy“, added Nagelsmann. A few hours before kick-off, the daily Bild had revealed that the French international defender had been checked a few weeks ago by the German police in a state of intoxication, with an alcohol level higher than 0.8 g per liter of blood.
