Otero came to this organization last September
CELEBRATES. Panamanian pitcher Andy Otero added another title to his showcase, this time it was with the Brothers in the Taiwan Baseball League, who were crowned by sweeping the Rakuten Monkeys, at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium.
Otero came to this organization last September after seeing minor league action with the Milwaukee Brewers.
With the Brothers he threw five games, with a 2-1 mark, in 26.2 innings worked, in which he allowed 29 hits, 13 runs, gave away four walks and struck out 21, leaving his ERA at 4.05.
Now his work continues in the Dominican Republic, where he has been announced to play with the Estrellas Orientales, a team based in San Pedro de Macorís.
The southpaw from Chirica should arrive on the island this weekend and if all goes well he will be activated as soon as Monday.
