Casper Ruud talks about his matches against Rafael Nadal on the Latin American Tour

Casper Ruud isn’t worried about his form heading into the Latin America Tour. Ruud, who has reached two Grand Slam finals this year, last appeared at the ATP Finals, where he reached the final before losing to Novak Djokovic.

Now Ruud is ready to face Rafael Nadal in Latin America. On Wednesday, Ruud and Nadal will kick off the Latin America Tour in Buenos Aires. On November 25, Nadal will face Chilean Alejandro Tabilo in Santiago.

Afterwards, Ruud and Nadal will meet four more times in Belo Horizonte, Quito, Bogota and Mexico City.

Ruud is ‘honoured’ to play against Nadal.

“It was something that made me honor to be invited to tour Latin America with Rafa.

I’m not going to say that it will be very demanding. I think it’s gonna be a lot of fun. We’ll see when I get back. I will still have many days to recover from the jet lag and all the rest.

I think we are more used than other people to traveling, to flying. Jet lag is fortunately easier to bear on the way there, but it’s on the way back that it sort of kills you.

Fortunately, I will have time to train and relax a bit before leaving for Australia. But we’ll see how the body reacts to that.” “I found it difficult to go from the United States to Europe, then to the Laver Cup, to the Davis Cup, then directly to Asia, which I I found it very painful.

I hope I learned something from this trip,” Ruud said, according to Tennis Majors. In early June, Ruud faced Nadal in his first Grand Slam final, at Roland Garros.

After losing to Nadal in the French Open final, Ruud was also beaten by Nadal at the ATP Finals in Turin. It remains to be seen how Ruud will fare against Nadal on the Latin American circuit.
