MIAMI (AP) — Jimmy Butler had 35 points for the Miami Heat, who blew a 15-point lead but rallied to beat the Charlotte Hornets 117-112 Thursday night for their seventh straight loss.
Butler also had 10 rebounds and eight assists. Bam Adebayo had 18 points and 14 catches off the boards, while Max Strus and Gabe Vincent each had 12 points for Miami.
Kelly Oubre Jr. had 29 points for Charlotte, which also had 22 points from Terry Rozier and 16 from Jaden McDaniels
Butler scored the Heat’s last eight points in regulation as Miami played its sixth straight game decided by single digits. It is the longest such streak by the club since stringing together eight in January 2020.
The Heat got 30 points from turnovers to Charlotte’s 10.
