Los Brooklyn Nets have not started the 76th NBA season as expected. The team led by Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant lost 5 of their first 7 games, fired their coach and also lost Ben Simmons for an injury.
After starting the first six games, the Aussie was a noticeable absence from Brooklyn in the last two appearances.

” target=”_blank”>According to NBA Insider, Shams Charaniathe Nets are monitoring a swelling in the left knee of Ben Simmons, which is why he did not play against the Indiana Pacers, nor will he be available to face the Chicago Bulls at home.
Ben Simmons already underwent surgery on his left knee in 2020, when he was part of the Philadelphia 76ers. On that occasion, Sixers doctors opted to remove a foreign body from his left knee after a patellar subluxation, which caused him to miss 14 games the following season.

When is Ben Simmons coming back to play? Recovery time
The Brooklyn Nets did not provide further details for the return of Ben Simmons. He was listed as questionable prior to the game against the Bulls, but hours before his absence was confirmed.

Now the Nets will have to face games on consecutive nights in Washington against the Wizards (4/11) and in Charlotte against the Hornets (5/11). They will complete the tour in Dallas, against Luka Doncic and Facundo Campazzo’s Mavericks on 7/11.
