The well-known statistics agency Gracenote released their prediction before the start of the World Cup in Qatar. The agency showed great confidence in a Belgian success, as it actually placed the Red Devils in the final, where they would lose against Brazil.
But Gracenote will also provide updates during the tournament. After the first day of play in Qatar, a new prediction was made and the Belgians lose some of their feathers.
Not the final, but the semi-final, according to Gracenote, will be the final destination of Belgium.
Striking: Argentina, which surprisingly lost to Saudi Arabia, would still recover and reach the final, according to the agency.
But because of that defeat, the Argentines virtually end up in the table half of the Red Devils and that therefore affects the Belgian chances.
Germany, who lost to Japan, would not survive the group stage.
