Bayern sets clear priorities when looking for a striker

While Bayern have been associated with numerous strikers for months, the striker debate on the Isar has recently fallen silent. The reason for this is called Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. The 33-year-old is currently playing big and has impressively shown in recent games that he is more than just a good backup striker. Nevertheless, the name of Harry Kane remains a hot topic for the German record champions.

In the past few weeks there have been numerous rumors and speculations about Harry Kane and a possible move to Bayern Munich. “Sky” reporter and transfer insider Florian Plettenberg gave an update on the current status of the 29-year-old’s exchange poker game in the podcast “The German Soccer Podcast”: “Now it’s definitely up to Harry Kane. Bayern have indicated that they are interested. But in this phase Bayern are very calm.”

Kane costs between 70-80 million euros

It is also interesting: According to Plettenberg, the English national player is still the absolute dream player at Säbener Straße. Accordingly, FCB internally says “Harry Kane or nothing” for the summer trans window 2023.

Kane himself has recently been very cautious and emphasizes that he is currently fully focused on Tottenham. According to reports, the attacker only wants to deal more intensively with his sporting future after the World Cup. In addition to an extension at Spurs, Kane is quite open to a change. In England, reports have recently been circulating that Kane has put the contract talks with Tottenham on hold.

The top scorer is contractually bound to Tottenham until 2024. From Plettenberg’s point of view, Bayern would have to pay 70 to 80 million euros for Kane if this summer actually ended up on the transfer market.
